Contact form

When you visit our website, you have the option of sending us a contact request using contact forms. To this end, you can provide us with the following personal data:

  • Last name, first name
  • Email address and/or telephone number
  • Postal address
  • Company affiliation
  • Your request, comment or inquiry

We generally use this personal data to answer your questions, clarify queries and allow you to access special information or offers.

We only process your data in order to respond to your inquiry in our mutually legitimate interest (in accordance with point 6.1(f) of the GDPR).

If you have explicitly given your consent for us to use your data so that digikoo GmbH can provide you with information in future as well, we process your data on the basis of consent (point 6.1.(a) of the GDPR).

You have the right to withdraw your consent, with effect from that point on, at any time.

Data processing for operating the website

Every time the website is visited, digikoo GmbH automatically gathers data and information required for the operation of the website. These data are temporarily stored in log files on the server.

The following data are collected in the process:

  • Information about the type of browser and version being used
  • The user’s operating system
  • The user’s internet service provider
  • The user’s IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • The website visited by the user’s system directly before visiting our website (referrer)
  • Web pages opened by the user’s system from our website.

IP addresses are processed to protect against and/or trace hacking attempts and cyberattacks. The other data is processed in order to deliver the content of our website, ensure the proper operation of our IT systems and the functionality of the website. The data stored in the log files is always kept separate from the other personal user data and either deleted or anonymized after seven days at the latest.

This processing of your data as specified above is done on the basis of our legitimate interest (in accordance with point 6.1.(f) of the GDPR) in the correct and secure operation of the website, including in your interest. We respect your legitimate interest in privacy through anonymization and pseudonymization measures.

Your personal data is deleted within 7 days at the latest, unless digikoo is legally obliged to preserve it or there is legal justification to preserve it.

The digikoo GmbH takes steps to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data are carefully protected against loss, damage, falsification, manipulation and unauthorized access or disclosure.

Data recipients, service providers and data transfer in/to third countries

Provided that it is not necessary for establishing contact with you, no personal data is transferred to third parties. Moreover, digikoo binds contracted service providers (e.g. IT service providers) to the data protection and security requirements. digikoo allows certain tasks and services to be performed by carefully chosen and contracted (IT) service providers based outside the European Union. As such, personal data is transmitted to a third country. The transfer of data to a third country takes place in compliance with the data protection regulations of the European Union and national law. To this end, data privacy agreements that meet the statutory requirements are agreed with the contracting parties in order to establish an adequate level of data protection (European Union standard contractual clauses). You have the opportunity to request additional information and/or be provided with copies of the pertinent agreements at any time. Your data will not be transferred to third parties without your knowledge.

Your rights

We would be happy to tell you whether and what personal data of yours we are storing and to whom we have transferred it. In accordance with statutory provisions, you can assert the following additional rights:

Correction, deletion, restriction on processing (blocking for certain purposes), data transfer and objection to processing, in particular, for the purposes of advertising, market research or opinion polling.

If you gave us your consent to process your personal data, you can withdraw it at any time with effect from then on. The lawfulness of processing your data prior to consent being withdrawn shall not be affected.

Your data is stored by us for the respective legally mandated retention period – unless otherwise stipulated in this information. Thereafter, we delete your personal information and only retain anonymized data if this is required to execute business processes.

Moreover, you have the right in case of queries or complaints to contact a regulatory authority, in particular, in the Member State where you normally reside, your workplace is or the place where an alleged infringement took place.
